Sunday
Swim Club
Meet on the beach at 9am each Sunday, year-round. Join us each week to swim in the sea and get all the benefits of cold-water therapy with like-minded people. Followed by a hot drink to warm up in the beach café afterwards.
Or why not bring a picnic and park up for the day.
Free – You just need to pay to park
Our Café
Serving quality barista-style coffee and homemade cakes, along with healthy breakfasts and lunches, right overlooking the beach. We aim to use locally-grown produce and avoid single-use plastics.
Open year-round from 10-5 pm – winter opening hours are subject to change.
Accommodation
If you’re thinking of staying a while, we have fantastic accommodation here at Sandy Acres. We have luxury Scandinavian-style lodges that sleep up to eight, just a stone’s throw from the beach. Or we have glamping pods and our campsite nestled in the dunes – it’s extremely popular so booking is essential.
Car Park
Amtrac runs our car park. You get 15 minutes of free time from the barrier to the car park to check the surf. There is a pay and display machine at the barrier, or you can pay on the app once you get to the beach car park. We cannot query any parking issues for you. Please go through Amtrac for any further information or queries on parking.
Dog Friendly Beach All Season
Happy well behaved dogs are always welcome, we just ask that they stay on the lead in the car park.
Our stench of sand has no summer dog restrictions, so you can enjoy a sandy walk at anytime. Dogs are also welcome in the café seating areas.
